Soul Retrieval
The concept of ‘soul retrieval’ – returning various parts of the soul to its original wholeness – is a powerful healing practice found in spiritual traditions from around the world. It is particularly effective for healing spiritual wounds caused by trauma, loss, physical illness, or a sense of disconnection from one’s true self.
Soul Retrieval is an ancient practice of returning a person’s fragmented soul aspects that have been lost due to trauma and deprivation. Traditionally, the soul retrieval process would involve the assistance of a Shaman, or spiritual practitioner, to guide the individual back to their center and retrieve those lost pieces of their soul. During the process, the Shaman may use various methods – such as sound healing, energetic clearing, or the use of sacred plants – to help the person tap into the legacy of their true self and leave behind the trace of old traumas outlining their being.
Soul retrieval helps people to reconnect with aspects of themselves they may have forgotten or lost. It can be a powerful healing tool to restore an individual back to their true, essential self. When a person’s soul has been shattered due to a traumatic experience, it can have a lasting impact on their physical, emotional and spiritual health.
Through the act of soul retrieval, the person can experience a sense of profound healing and transformation. This is because the process helps to restore the soul’s harmony, helping the person to heal from the experience on a deep, spiritual level. The service supports the individual to reclaim all parts of themselves, even those that may have become dislocated due to trauma, so that all pieces of their soul can be unified, thus enabling them to move into a place of wholeness and contentment.
The shamanic journey of soul retrieval is rooted in spiritual traditions from many cultures. In India, it is referred to as Atma Vidya or the ‘knowledge of the soul’. In the Middle East, it is known as Zikr, or remembrance, and in Native American culture, it is referred to as the ‘remembering of who you are’.
During a soul retrieval process, the Shaman uses their intuition and the client’s desires to create a journey to find the missing pieces, restructure them and bring them back to the individual. It is important to note that the process is not a one-size-fits-all and can take place over a period of many weeks or even months before all aspects of the soul have been reclaimed.
The soul retrieval practice can be beneficial for many people, who may find themselves suffering from a sense of disconnection or stuckness in life. It can help to reawaken a sense of joy and spiritual integration in their lives and enable them to become their true and powerful selves.
The process of soul retrieval requires strength and faith in oneself and an openness to accept the help of a Shaman in the journeying process. It is important to remember during soul retrieval sessions that the person holds all the answers within themselves and is navigating a personal healing journey. It is important to remember that the guidance of the Shaman is not authoritative, and is instead there as a facilitator for the person to reconnect with their own intuition and find their own way.
If you have been feeling stuck or disheartened, soul retrieval may be the perfect way to reconnect to your joy and purpose in life. Working with an experienced Shaman and an open mind, you can re-integrate the aspects of yourself that have been missing and find a deeper understanding of who you truly are and why you are alive.
